Nick Kyrgios has again taken a swipe at Stefanos Tsitsipas while announcing his participation in the US Open series.
Kyrgios has accepted a wildcard for the ATP Masters event at Cincinnati and will be playing doubles with Jack Sock at the ATP 500 Washington Open.

“I’m super excited to see Jack Sock,” Kyrgios said during a chat with the official Citi Open account.

“We’ve got doubles in DC which I’m super excited about.
“I’ve had Stefanos as a partner there so it can’t get much worse than that.”

The relationship between Tsitsipas and Kyrgios has frayed since their ill-tempered third-round clash at Wimbledon.
The Greek had labelled Kyrgios a ‘bully’ for his constant antics and Kyrgios retorted by calling Tsitsipas ‘soft’.

Kyrgios reached his first Grand Slam final at Wimbledon this year and is likely trying to get into the best shape for the US Open.
In a surprise move, Kyrgios will be returning to Cincinnati for the first time since 2019.

The last time he played in the American city he was handed a fine of $113,000 for arguing with the chair umpire and committing a number of unsportsmanlike conduct offences.
