Kyrgios Defeats Khachanov – Sets Up Nadal Clash
Nick Kyrgios defeated Karen Khachanov in a thrilling five-setter at the 2020 Australian Open, in a match that lasted four and a half hours.
Australian Kyrgios beat Khachanov in an epic serving contest, with four of the five sets going to tiebreaks, eventually winning 6-2, 7-6(5), 6-7(6), 6-7(7), 7-6(10-8).
Kyrgios hit 31 aces in the contest, won 82% of points on his first serve and an incredible 50 points at the net (70%).
Kyrgios’ next opponent is none other than world number one Rafael Nadal.
